We've been busy lately so here's a few things we've been up to. We went to the Red River Ex which was fun. We had the chance to see the "Butterfly experience" which was quite neat. It was enclosed area (netting) where you could see/touch over 30 000 butterflies. Celeste loved it but Lili pretty much hated it.

We took a trip to Falcon Lake. We had planned just to go for 3 nights/4 days however once we were there we decided to stay for 6 nights. The weather was mostly beautiful. Mario joined us for one night, that's him with Lilibelle


Fishing at Camp Lake - a little lake by Falcon that requires a bit of hike. Celeste managed to outfish her uncle Mars and dad by catching the first and biggest fish. Marc got his annual poison ivy outbreak thanks to the hike - it just wouldn't be summer without it.

And Lili, Lili, Lili. What can we say about Lili. She was not a happy camper and brought us down with her. Out of a six night stay, she got up three times at 6:30am, twice at 5:00 am and once at 2:45am. And no, she did not fall back asleep. Ugh. It's one thing for that to happen when you're at home when you can just keep them busy in another room, but in a camper, not gonna happen. That meant loading her up and killing time till the restaurant opened. I think the expression on Marc's face says it all.

On friday we had a bit of bad weather so we loaded the kids up and headed to Kenora for a few hours.

The result of Lili not sleeping in. The really funny thing about this picture is that she was in Marc's arms, awake, while he was guiding the boat to shore. He set her down on the seat just to tilt the motor while I was climbing onto the beach. When he turned around to pick her up, literally seconds later, she was asleep.




Worms. Keeps kids busy for hours. Go figure.
