Bad mommy story. Notice the lovely orange clay cat my daughter spent a painstaking hour painting by hand. She had to leave it with the resort dude overnight so he could fix it up and apply a glaze. She was extremely anxious to get it back, she kept talking about it, obsessing about it. She finally got it back the next afternoon. Half an hour later, mommy drops it the ground and breaks it. You should have heard the howling and crying. We went to see the resort dude who said he could fix it if we left it with him another day. Needless to say, I'm no longer allowed to touch it - and yes, it did get fixed.
We didn't spend much time on the beach. The waves were of the "take your shorts off" variety. Lots of wind! We had intended to take more family pictures on the last day. Unfortunately, right after this picture was taken, a rogue wave came and almost swept all gear out to sea. The camera was permanently damaged.
Visiting the market. Where everything is made of fragile clay. With two kids who love to touch everything. Fun.
The view from our balcony. It felt like we were in Rain Forest.

Out and about.
Dinner only started at 630pm. The kids were zonked. Lili never made it past the salad course on most nights. Believe me, it's a challenge eating with one arm, trying not to get food on you sleeping child's head.
